Hi, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Jessica and my pronouns are she/they. I’m originally from a small-town in upstate New York and now live in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Currently, I’m a stay-at-home mom and consulting on digital marketing for my partner’s new mental health practice, Candor Therapy Network.
Prior to January 2021 when I left the workforce for parenting life, I had been working as a contracted social media specialist with the U.S. Selective Service System to amplify the importance and civic responsibility of registering with the Selective Service for all men ages 18 to 25.
In May 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted life as we all knew it, I completed my Bachelor’s in French Studies and Political Science (with a concentration in global politics) from the University at Albany. My overarching career goals include writing for an organization sharing my values of equity, empathy, and expression.
My experience, to put it simply, is unique and wide-ranging. I have clips with topics pertaining to mental health, disaster response and recovery, disabilities, world peace, Native American community issues, minority business-related topics in government, the Selective Service, and human rights.
Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
